Job Title: Junior Architect
Job Location: Gandhidham
Job Summary
The Junior Architect will assist in the design, planning, and coordination of industrial buildings, warehouses, factories, and PEB structures. The role involves preparing architectural drawings, coordinating with structural and PEB design teams, and ensuring project designs meet functional, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Design & Drafting
Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, sections, and elevations for industrial and warehouse projects.
Develop general arrangement (GA) drawings for factories, storage facilities, and logistics warehouses.
Assist in site planning, zoning layouts, and circulation planning for industrial campuses.
Create concept drawings and 3D views for client presentations.
Coordination
Coordinate with structural engineers, PEB designers, and MEP consultants.
Ensure architectural drawings align with PEB structural designs and fabrication drawings.
Work with project managers and site engineers for design clarifications and updates.
Documentation
Prepare detailed working drawings and construction documentation.
Assist in BOQ preparation, material specifications, and tender documents.
Maintain drawing revisions and project documentation.
Site Support
Conduct site visits for measurements and inspections.
Provide architectural support during construction and resolve site-related design issues.
Ensure project work follows design drawings and project specifications.
Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
Basic knowledge of SketchUp / Revit / 3D modeling tools.
Understanding of industrial building layouts, warehouse planning, and PEB systems.
Ability to read architectural, structural, and fabrication drawings.
Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and construction materials.
Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or Diploma in Architecture.
2–5 years of experience in industrial, warehouse, or construction projects.
Freshers with strong AutoCAD and industrial layout skills can be considered.
Preferred Experience
Experience with industrial sheds, logistics warehouses, factories, or PEB projects.
Knowledge of BIM and 3D visualization software.
Exposure to large-span structures and warehouse planning.
Work Environment
Office-based design work combined with site visits to industrial and warehouse project locations.
Close collaboration with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
