Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA/QC Laboratory Chemist to join our team in Bhuj. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates with a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, eager to start their career in quality assurance and quality control within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control Testing: Conduct routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using standard laboratory techniques and instruments.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all tests, results, and deviations in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Instrument Calibration: Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and pH meters.
Sample Preparation: Prepare and standardize reagents and solutions required for various analytical tests.
Compliance: Ensure all laboratory activities adhere to internal SOPs, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Reporting: Assist in the preparation of analytical reports and contribute to investigations of out-of-specification (OOS) results.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior chemists and cross-functional teams to support quality initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications:
Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry or a related field.
Experience: Freshers are welcome; prior internship or project experience in a laboratory setting is a plus.
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of analytical techniques and laboratory equipment.
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with laboratory software and data management systems.
Knowledge of regulatory standards such as ISO 9001, GMP, or GLP.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
