Job Purpose
To ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all instrumentation systems at the LPG terminal through preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with AMC vendors.
Key Responsibilities
2. Carry out day-to-day troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems to ensure uninterrupted terminal operations.
3. Attend trips, alarms, and faults related to instrumentation systems and take corrective actions in a timely manner.
4. Perform breakdown maintenance and restoration of instruments during emergencies and unplanned shutdowns.
5. Support and coordinate with AMC vendors during maintenance visits, calibration activities, and major overhauls.
6. Assist in calibration, testing, and commissioning of instruments as per OEM recommendations and site procedures.
7. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, work permits, and LPG terminal operational procedures.
8. Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and calibration reports.
9. Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements or corrective actions to enhance system reliability.
10. Coordinate with operations and electrical teams during shutdowns and maintenance activities.
11. Follow HSE guidelines, SOPs, and statutory compliance requirements at all times.
Key Skills & Competencies
2. Hands-on experience in fault diagnosis and rectification.
3. Ability to read P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrument datasheets.
4. Basic understanding of PLC/DCS systems (preferred).
5. Good communication and coordination skills for vendor and cross-functional interaction.
6. Safety-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
Qualification & Experience
2. 2–5 years of experience in LPG terminals, oil & gas facilities, refineries, or similar process industries.
3. Experience working in hazardous area environments will be an added advantage.
