*Job Summary:*
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant for a retail business. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounting records, handling **Purchase and Sales Entries in Tally**, preparing invoices, maintaining ledgers, and handling day-to-day accounting operations. The candidate **must have good knowledge of Tally and basic accounting**, as accurate entries and financial records need to be maintained regularly.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally.
* Handle **Purchase and Sales Entries in Tally** accurately.
* Prepare purchase and sales invoices and maintain proper records.
* Maintain cash, bank, purchase, and sales records.
* Prepare vouchers, receipts, invoices, and other accounting documents.
* Maintain customer and vendor ledgers and perform regular reconciliation.
* Handle basic GST-related accounting work and maintain required records.
* Perform bank reconciliation and maintain cash records.
* Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
* Coordinate with customers and vendors regarding accounts-related matters.
* Prepare basic MIS reports as required.
* Handle day-to-day accounting and billing activities.
*Required Skills:*
* Good knowledge of **Tally, Purchase & Sales Entries, GST, MS Excel & MS Office**.
* Basic knowledge of accounting and taxation.
* Good understanding of billing, invoicing, ledgers, and reconciliation.
* Good communication and organizational skills.
* Good attention to detail and accuracy in accounting entries.
* Honest, responsible, and willing to learn.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Experience in a retail, trading, or similar business is preferred.
* Candidates with practical experience in **Tally Purchase & Sales Entries** will be preferred.
* Candidates with 1–5 years of relevant accounting experience can apply.
