Job Overview:
 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Chemist to join our laboratory team focused on coal and mineral inspection and testing. This is a hands-on role offering structured training in standard analytical methods used in mineral and fuel testing laboratories.
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

Chemical and physical testing of coal, coke, and other minerals
 

Sample preparation, weighing, and labelling
 

Use of standard lab equipment (muffle furnace, ovens, crucibles, balances, etc.)
 

Accurate reporting and record-keeping
 

Compliance with lab safety and QA protocols
 

Support during audits and inspections
 

Training Includes:
 

Proximate/Ultimate coal analysis fundamentals
 

BIS/ISO standards exposure
 

Instrument handling, calibration, and documentation
 

Desired Candidate Profile:
 

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry
 

Strong basic lab knowledge, eager to learn
